NC parliamentary party meeting underway



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the parliamentary party of the ruling party Nepali Congress is underway at Lhotse Hall, Federal Parliament Building at New Baneshwor.

The meeting is said to discuss the impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

The Congress, the CPN-Maoist Center and the CPN (Unified Socialist) had on Sunday filed an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Rana.

Earlier, a meeting of the parliamentary party of the main opposition party CPN-UML was held on Monday.
