Four including three children of same family die of suffocation



KARNALI: Four persons, including three children from the same family, died of suffocation at Birendranagar Municipality-10 of Surkhet on Saturday evening.

Kalpa Budha, 35, her two sons – of eight, and nine year- and a nephew of five year were found dead in Kalpa’s house.

They are originally from Jajarkot district, according to DSP at District Police Office, Surkhet, Ram Prasad Gharti.

The police reached the incident site in the evening- soon after it got the information about the incident.

The police suspected that they might have died getting choked as they were burning coal by closing down the door and window which blocked the air passage for breathing.

Further action and investigation relating to the incident is awaited, police added.
