NC passes draft of election manifesto

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has endorsed the preliminary draft of election manifesto the party prepared for November 20 election of House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.

Election manifesto preparation committee coordinator General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma presented the draft of the manifesto in the meeting of the central work executive committee of the party held on Friday to which Dr Swarnim Wagle made additional interpretation, according to party office chief secretary, Krishna Prasad Poudel.

Dr Wagle made the interpretation on behalf of preliminary draft subcommittee.

The central working committee office bearers and members currently out of the Kathmandu Valley would send the written suggestion by Saturday evening.

The meeting chaired by party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur recorded the suggestion from Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, central members Gopal Man Shrestha, Bimalendra Nidhi, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, Arjun Narsing KC, Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat, Uma Regmi and Jip Chhiring Lama.
