UML expels Prabhu Sah

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has expelled Prabhu Sah, the party’s joint in-charge of Madhesh Province.

UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel expelled Sah from the party on the charge of involving in anti-party activities.

Along with Prabhu Sah, the party has also expelled Rauthat district in-charge Upendra Sah and joint in-charge Kundan Prasad Kushawa.

Meanwhile, UML has also dissolved its Rautahat district committee, alleging district committee chairman Tribhuvan Sah and other leaders were involved in anti-party activities.

Sah had revolted against UML after the party decided to form an electoral alliance with Upendra Yadav-led Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

Though he was offered a ticket by the party, he has registered his nomination as an independent candidate.
