KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has started issuing new banknotes from today in view of the upcoming Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals.
People can exchange fresh notes from NRB central office and provincial offices. Likewise, other banks, as well as financial institutions, will also distribute fresh notes from today.
According to NRB, each individual can exchange up to Rs 18,500 new notes.
The NRB is issuing fresh notes considering the Dashain, Tihar, and Chhat festivals.
