Counting begins in Simkot Rural Municipality of Humla



HUMLA: Counting of votes has started in Simkot Rural Municipality in Humla district from 6:00 pm on Saturday.

Counting started at 6:00 this evening after an all-party meeting that took place late this afternoon though the ballot boxes from all wards had arrived on Friday itself.

Chief Returning Officer Jagat Bahadur Poudel said the counting has been started from ward no. 1 of the rural municipality.

In Simkot Rural Municipality, 5,347 had cast their votes on Friday.
