Bharatpur Update: UML’s Vijay Subedi in the lead, Renu Dahal back by four votes



Kathmandu: The latest results of the vote count of Bharatpur Metropolitan City has shown CPN-UML candidate Vijay Subedi in the lead so far.

Out of 101 votes counted so far, Subedi got 41 votes followed by CPN-Maoist Center’s Renu Dahal 37.  Dahal, who is the previous mayor, has been contesting as the ruling alliance candidate. Similarly, UML has formed an alliance with Kamal Thapa’s Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Another popular independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has received only 8 votes so far.
