Vote count of Lalitpur metropolis underway



KATHMANDU: Counting of votes has started in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

Ballot boxes had been collected by Friday night. The counting of votes began after the all-party meeting.

Chief Election Officer Kiran Prasad Shiwakoti informed that the discussion was held to start counting of votes on Saturday morning as all the candidates and staffers were tired on Friday.

A total of 86,540 votes have been cast in Lalitpur metropolis. The total number of voters in the Metropolis is 122,890.
