NC panel makes clean sweep at Kanchanpur’s Laljhadi



KATHMANDU: Hark Narayan Joshi of Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as the ward chairman of ward No. 6 of Laljhadi rural municipality of Kanchanpur district.

In that ward, the NC panel has won among the members including the ward chairman.

Joshi defeated Phularam Chaudhary of the CPN (Maoist Center) by a margin of 115 votes.

The winner Joshi got 464 votes while the Maoist center Chaudhary got 341 votes.

Similarly, UML candidate Jit Bahadur Chaudhary got 266 votes.
