Counting of votes of Kathmandu metropolis to start from 8 am



KATHMANDU: The counting of votes of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is being held from 8 am today.

An all-party meeting held after the ballot boxes were collected by Friday night has decided to start counting from 8 am on Saturday.

The turnout was 64 percent on Friday. All ballot boxes have already been collected from 363 polling stations in Kathmandu.

All preparations have been completed in the Rastriya Sabha Griha (City Hall) for the counting of votes in Kathmandu. The counting center has been secured with tarpaulin.
