NC endorses election manifesto



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has endorsed the election manifesto for the Local Level Election-2079 BS.

The manifesto will be made public on April 24 with additional suggestions.

A meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee held at the party office in Sanepal endorsed the manifesto on Thursday.

NC general-secretary and manifesto drafting committee coordinator Gagan Thapa had on Wednesday presented the preliminary draft of the ‘Nepali Congress Local Level Election Declaration’ at a meeting of the central work execution committee on Wednesday.

At the meeting held at the party central office, Sanepa, under the chair of Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, office-bearers and central members of the party had aired their opinion and inputs on the manifesto raft.
