TMS data center problem disrupts Monday’s NEPSE

NEPSE sees a slight rise in the market Monday



KATHMANDU: The Monday’s transactions of shares of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) have been adversely affected by the Trade Management System (TMS) data server problem.

The stock market experienced the data server problem in the first two hours of operation on Monday morning.

NEPSE stopped the trading at 12:53 pm due to a technical problem in the data center of the broker.
After noticing the problem in the sever, NEPSE notified that the business will be suspended for some time until the problem is resolved. However, as the problem prevailed the transactions could not be continued afterwards.

Shares were not traded today after 12:53 p.m. Along with this, the NEPSE index increased by 0.15 points today and reached the point of 2668.11.

A total of 2,349,010 shares of 220 companies worth Rs 1.34 billion have been traded today.
