Nepal sees 58 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 26 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 58 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday. There was no coronavirus-related death in the country in the last 48 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 50 were detected through the RT-PCR method and eight from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there was no coronavirus-related death in the past 48 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 26 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 25 case in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 4,819 active cases in the country as 148 infected patients recovered.
