8 billion rupees added to the banking system in a day



KATHMANDU: Rs 8 billion has been added to the banking system in one day.

According to the latest statistics of Nepal Rastra Bank, 8 billion deposits have been added to the banking system on a  single day on March 11. At the same time, the total deposits of banks and financial institutions have reached Rs. 4891 billion. The total deposits increased from Rs 4318 billion to Rs 4326 billion on March 10.

Credit investment of banks and financial institutions remained stable at Rs. 4693 billion on March 10. The total loan investment was Rs. 4693 billion as of March 10. The total loan investment was Rs. 4166 billion on March 10.

The average CD ratio of banks has remained at 90.47 percent since March 10. As of March 11, the average CD ratio of banks was 90.54 percent.

Similarly, the inter-bank interest rate has been fixed at 7 percent.
