KATHMANDU: The Nepali cricket team has flown to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in a triangular ODI series under the ICC World Cup League 2.
The Nepali team left for the UAE straight from Sri Lanka after practicing in Sri Lanka. It played a total of four practice matches in Sri Lanka.
During the practice session, out of the four matches played, Nepal won first three matches and lost the final one.
Nepal will take on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in its first ODI series on March 16. Similarly, it will play second and third matches with host UAE on March 18 and 21.
Similarly, it will play its last match with PNG on March 22.
Nepal, which has already played two ODI series under the league, is in the sixth position with 8 points from eight games.
Already lost 12 matches, PNG is at the bottom of the points table while UAE is in the third position with 16 points from 14 matches.
