KATHMANDU: Five lawmakers have refused to sign on blank sheets in the CPN-UML parliamentary party (PP) meeting Sunday. The party presented six various sheets of paper to lawmakers to put their signatures in today’s PP meeting.

Five lawmakers, including Bhim Rawal and Ghanshyam Bhusal, refused to sign blank sheets that did not clearly disclose the issue. One of the sheets was meant for attendance and the rest were blank.

Lawmakers Rawal, Bhusal, Deepak Prakash Bhatt, Pabitra Niraula Kharel and Jhapat Rawal refused to sign the blank sheets.

Jhapat Rawal said he only signed the attendance sheet and did not sign the remaining five blank sheets of the party.
