NEPSE sees a slight growth Monday

Transaction shrinks to thirty five millions



KATHMANDU: The share market, which declined by 100 points on Sunday, has slightly improved on the second trade day of the week, Monday.

The market, which had declined by more than 100 points yesterday, finally closed green today.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by 0.08 points to 2700.98 points.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index declined by 0.36 points to 511.30.

A total of 7,549,779 shares of 227 companies were traded at a total value of Rs 3,684,09,915.

Of the 13 subgroups traded, shares of 5 subgroups declined while shares of the remaining 8 subgroups increased.

Likewise, National Hydropower Company Limited was strong in business on Monday. The company had a turnover of Rs 549.19 million.

Today, the share price of Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited has risen the most. The company’s share price has risen 8.13 percent to Rs 665. The share price of Malung Khola Hydropower Company Limited has declined the most on this day. The company’s share price fell 3.85 percent to Rs 575.
