Pakistani Ambassador Shah meets UML Chair Oli



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah at his residence in Balkot on Sunday.

During the meeting, the duo discussed the bilateral relations between Nepal and Pakistan.

According to the Embassy of Pakistan, the Ambassador complimented Oli for his immense contribution in strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries during his tenure as the Prime Minister of Nepal.

“Ambassador Shah also recalled his effort towards the revival of SAARC,” the Pakistani Embassy said adding that “The Ambassador hoped that former PM Oli would continue to contribute towards bettering Pakistan-Nepal relations as a friend of Pakistan.”

In reply,  UML Chair Oli thanked Ambassador Shah and expressed his desire to see the bilateral relations between the two countries flourish in the days ahead.
