KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader and former finance minister Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani has said that Nepal’s economy is going through hard time yet Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has not acted responsible.

Expressing his concern over the declining condition of the economy, former RPP Chairman Dr. Lohani warned through his facebook post on Friday that  once out of track the economic issues won’t be confined in poor statistics record rather they will adversely impact the livelihood of the people.

“Nepal’s economy is heading towards crisis,” the former Finance Minister wrote on social media, “It is not just a matter of the finance minister’s concern, rather it is the responsibility of the government to work out the solution; however, Prime Minister Deuba does not seem to have realized this.”

Dr. Lohani warned that the crisis in the economy is not limited to statistics as after reaching a certain level human pathos will take precedence over statistics.
