NEPSE gains 21.30 points to close at 1,934.04 on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has gained 21.30 points to close at 1,934.04 points on Tuesday.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index also went up by 3.83 points to settle at 376.17 points.

The index that opened at 1,913.41 made an intraday low of 1,913.20, an intraday high of 1,940.85 and ultimately closed at 1,934.04 points today (Tuesday).

A total of 3,146,996 units of shares of 231 companies changed hands via 20,520 transactions, resulting in turnover of Rs 922 million.

Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited was the top gainer for the day and gained the highest 10 percent while Support 8.5% Nepal Bank Debenture 2087 was the biggest loser that shed 9.59 percent in the secondary market today.

All sector indices closed green, “Finance” gained the highest 2.13 percent while “Non Life Insurance” gained the least 0.75 percent.
