Nepal sees 203 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 203 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Of the confirmed cases, 87 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 116 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 5,059 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,300 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 3,759 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 2,232 active cases in the country as 126 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 12,015 to date.
