School closed after increasing cases of viral fever



BAGLUNG: A school at Righa of Galkot Municipality-11 in Baglung district has been closed after a surge in viral fever.

Chief of Righa Health Post, health assistant Laxmi Gharti informed that the number of people suffering from viral fever was increasing of late.

The Chhichimra Pokhari Basic School of Galkot-11 has been closed for three days after both the teachers and students suffered from viral fever, according to Principal Harka Bahadur BK.

Teacher Bhojendra Nepali further said the school witnessed increasing absence of students due to health problems.

Meanwhile, health assistant Gharti informed that the infection was found also among the people from ward no 1, 2, 4 and 5 of erstwhile Righa VDC.

Some of them tested positive for typhoid. With the increase in the cases of fever, the health post has planned dengue test.
