KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden discussed a possible electoral alliance in the November 20 elections.

In the meeting held in Balkot last evening, the discussion focused on issues such as forging an alliance in the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assembly to be held on November 20.

“The two leaders discussed the possibility of an electoral alliance between UML and RPP in the upcoming elections,” an RPP leader said.

The two leaders have agreed to meet again in the near future, the source said.

RPP Chairman Lingden is contesting in Jhapa Constituency 3.

In the 2074 BS, Lingden was elected to the House of Representatives defeating Nepali Congress candidate Krishna Prasad Sitaula.
