NC holding CWC meeting today



KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Central Working Committee (CWC) today.

Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a CWC meeting at the party central office in Sanepa this morning.

NC Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the meeting would discuss preparations for the November 20 elections, party registration for election purposes, the gathering of people’s representatives on August 15-16, and a nationwide organization-building campaign to be held from August 18 to September 9, among other issues.

The government has declared elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly on November 20.
