Elections most likely to be held in a single phase in mid-November, says Prachanda



BARDIYA: Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that the elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly will most probably be held in mid-November.

“We are preparing to hold the general elections and province-level elections in mid-November or the first week of December this year.

Speaking at a program in Bardiya on Monday, Prachanda urged party leaders and cadres to prepare for the elections.

He also stated that the government is preparing to hold the elections in a single phase.

Prachanda, meanwhile, said the elections can be held in two phases also due to the security situation.
