SINDHUPALCHOWK: Nepal Army personnel had to intervene when tensions rose in a polling center at Jyamire of Sindhupalchowk.

Tensions have been high for some time now, with party representatives helping people with disabilities to cast their ballots instead of their relatives.

The situation was brought under control by the Nepal Army after a stampede at a health post booth in Jamire of Melamchi Municipality.

Similarly, tension has arisen at the Yangri polling station of Thangpal-2 in Panchpokhari after a ballot paper with the signature of the Returning Officer was found missing. The condition of the polling station is also normal now.
