Industrialist Agrawal attacked in Biratnagar



BIRATNAGAR: Executive member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Province No. 1 and businessman Shrawan Kumar Agrawal has been fatally attacked.

According to FNCCI Province Committee Chairman of Province 1 Tika Raj Dhakal, Agrawal was stopped on the way to Biratnagar bazaar during transaction.

Agrawal who sustained a big wound inside his mouth has returned home after treatment. Family members informed that 8 stitches were applied during the treatment.

According to the FNCCI Province1 Committee, he was attacked and injured by a person named Pawan Sharma on Saturday. FNCCI has condemned the attack and demanded arrest and action against the culprits.

Meanwhile, Shravan’s brother Raju Agrawal has lodged an FIR at the District Police Office, Morang, demanding action against the attacker Sharma.

According to the Morang Police, the search for Sharma, who was absconding after the incident, has been started.
