Chinese national held with nearly 5 kg illegal yellow metal from TIA



KATHMANDU: A Chinese national has been arrested from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) along with about five kilograms of gold.

The illegal gold was recovered from a Chinese national arriving in Kathmandu on Saturday morning via a Himalayan Airlines flight from Dubai.

The gold was recovered from a Chinese national named Zhang Li, said TIA Customs Office, Chief Mahesh Bhattarai.
