Minor arrested for rape

MORANG: Police have arrested an 11-year-old boy on charge of rape in Kanepokhari village of Morang district.

According to Janardan GC, Chief Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Morang, the boy was taken under control on Saturday on the charge of raping a 6-year-old girl.

He said that the boy took the girl to a neighbor’s house and raped her.

According to Superintendent of Police GC, the victim had informed her parents about the incident.

Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.

He informed that the boy will be kept in the juvenile correctional facility for investigation.
