Nepali Congress holding Central Working Committee today



KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of the Central Working Committee today.

The meeting is discussing the current political situation, and local elections besides making decisions on the sister organizations, including the Nepal Students’ Union, Tarun Dal, Women Association, Dalit Association and Muslim Association.

NC leader Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said that today’s meeting would take a necessary decision regarding the sister organizations.

Likewise, the party has already decided to hold the convention of the remaining 16 districts on February 25.

The meeting will also form various committees for local election preparations.
