Six private hospitals administering COVID-19 vaccines in Valley

KATHMANDU: Private hospitals are also administering COVID-19 vaccines to curb the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country.

According to Health Office, Kathmandu, COVID-19 vaccines are available at six private hospitals based in the Kathmandu Valley.

The arrangement has been made to administer COVID-19 vaccines at Kathmandu Model Hospital, Exhibition Road, People’s Dental College and Hospital, Samakhusi, Janamaitri Hospital, Balaju, Norvic Hospital, Thapathali, Shubhechchha Hospital, Sitapaila and Nobel Hospital, Sinamangal, informed Shambu Kafle, the chief of the Health Office.

Similarly, the COVID-19 vaccines are being provided at Armed Police Force Hospital, Balambu, Martyr’s Memorial Hospital, Kalanki, Birendra Sainik Hospital Chhauni, Lotse Mall, New Bus Park, Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, Bir Hospital, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital Teku, Bayodha Hospital, Balkhu, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, New Baneshwor and Apex Polyclinic, Jadibuti.

According to the Ministry, Covishield, Vero Cell and Astra Zeneca are being provided. The vaccination will begin from 10 am to 3 pm.
