Two held with fake Nepali and Indian currencies



PARASI: Two individuals have been arrested with fake Nepali and Indian currencies from Nawalparasi.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police deployed from District Police Office, Nawalparasi on Wednesday rounded up Rasid Mohammad of Lumbini Sanskrit municipality-12 and Jamal Musalman of Shuddhodan rural municipality, Nandpur-2 in possession of fake currencies.

According to police, they were nabbed while they trying to exchange fake Indian currency notes for Nepali bank notes at Buddhachowk in Ramgram municipality-5.

Meanwhile, police seized Rs 25,000 of 1000 denomination, IRs 300 of one hundred denomination and IRs 850 of 50 denomination.
