KATHMANDU: Light rain occurred in various places including the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday night.
Rainfall was witnessed in some places of Bagmati, Pradesh 1, Gandaki and Lumbini and snowfall in high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast light rain in one or two places in Pradesh 1 and Gandaki Pradesh towards the afternoon today.
The westerly low-pressure system which has been active for the last few days is gradually subsiding from today with the clear weather.
According to the Division, light snowfall will occur in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous regions of Pradesh 1 and Gandaki Pradesh today.
The sun will shine in various places including the Kathmandu Valley today, informed Manju Basi, a meteorologist.
