Nepal sees seven new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases confine to 30



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

The confirmed seven cases was detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,199 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 418 were tested through RT-PCR method and 781 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 25 active cases in the country as 12 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
