UML, Maoist Center cadres clash in Dolpa, 9 injured



KATHMANDU: Nine people were injured in a clash between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Center) cadres in the Himalayan district of Dolpa.

According to Dolpa Police, among the injured, four  are the UML supporters and five the Maoist Center cadres.

In the clash, 42-year-old Jalpa Bohora, 50-year-old Shanta Bohora, 38-year-old Bhadra Bohora and 12-year-old Krishnajung Bohora from the UML and 59-year-old Birkh Bohora and 18-year-old Lakshman Bohora, 54-year-old Gorsingh Bohora, 16-year-old Pabindra Bohora and 21-year-old Jagat Bohora  the Maoist Center got injured.

The police informed that the clash started over a minor dispute between the boozed cadres of UML and Maoist Center on Sunday night.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the local health post in Jhyakot.
