Fresh quake rattles Sudurpaschim



KATHMANDU: An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude occurred at 8:12 on Saturday in Sudurpaschim.

The earthquake was felt in the districts of Baitadi, Darchula, Dadeldhura, Achham, Kanchanpur, Kailali and others.

According to the National Seismological Monitoring and Research Centre, Surkhet, the epicentre of the quake was Patadewal in Bajhang district.

Police said that no evidence of the loss has been recorded so far. Earlier, earthquakes took place in the region on November 9 and 10.

The quake of 6.6 in the Richter scale occurred on November 10 had claimed six lives.
