Egyptian Ambassador calls on Forests and Environment Minister Yadav



KATHMANDU: A meeting between Minister for Forests and Environment Pradeep Yadav and Ambassador of Egypt to Nepal Noha Hamdy Ahmed Elgebaly took place at the ministry on Monday.

The talks between the duo focused on Nepal’s participation in the 27th session of the Conference of Parties (COP 27) to the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC) and other current related issues.

The COP 27 is taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on coming November 7-18.

On the occasion, Ambassador Elgebaly urged Minister Yadav to take part in the Conference.

In response, the Minister said a high ranking team from Nepal would participate in the Conference, and for that, preparations were underway.
