Madhesh Province Assembly session prorogued



JANAKPURDHAM: The ninth session of the Madhesh Province Assembly has ended. Province Chief Hari Shankar Mishra announced the prorogation of the session from 12:00 midnight last night on the recommendation of the Province Government.

The prorogation was in accordance with the Article 183 (2) of the Constitution, according to PA secretariat secretary Ranjit Kumar Yadav.

The ninth session of the Madhesh Province Assembly had commenced on June 2 and it had endorsed eight important bills including the Appropriation Bill over the time, according to Yadav.
