Two held with automatic pistol in Dhanusha

DHANUSHA: Police have arrested two individuals with an automatic pistol in Dhanusha district today.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from District Police Office, Dhanusha rounded up 30-year-old Indresh Kumar Singh of Jaleshwor municpality-9, Mahottari and Abhishek Kumar Singh of Manarasiswa municipality-1, Mahottari with a pistol.

Plainclothes police found the pistol concealed on the left waist of the motorcyclist Indresh Kumar during frisking in front of Provincial Hospital. Abhishek was a pillion rider.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the seized pistol, motorcycle and the arrested under control.

Both the arrested are currently staying in Janakpur Sub Metropolitan City.
