Birgunj and RCT share points in Sunday’s match

KATHMANDU: Birgunj United and Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) have shared the points in the Martyrs’ Memorial B Division League match played on Saturday.

In the second match played at ANFA Complex today, both the teams drew 2-2.

Unable to take the lead, Birgunj was forced to share the points.

In the 31st minute of the match, Bigyan Chaudhary scored a goal to give Birgunj the lead. Amar Dangol of RCT scored in the 41st minute to level the score at 1-1.Kripakant Mahato Tharu scored in the 47th minute to give Birgunj a 2-1 lead.

After RCT’s Dangol scored his second individual goal in the 81st minute of the match, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

With this draw, both the teams have scored the same 5 points from 4 games. In the first match of the league today, Bansbari Club defeated Madhyapur Youth by 6-0.
