Sister relations established between Chandragiri and two cities of Korea



KATHMANDU: Chandragiri Municipality is to establish a sister relationship with two municipalities of South Korea.

The relations will also feature the exchange of experiences on seasonal workers, agricultural technology, cultural, historical and other subjects.

An agreement to this end was reached during a bilateral meeting between Mayor of Chandragiri Ghanshyam Giri and Nepal Cultural Center Korea founder Hwai Kyu Ho.

The sister relations will be taken forward in coordination with the Korean Ministry of Justice.

Mayor Giri shared that the necessary infrastructure has been prepared for building a prosperous Chandragiri municipality during his tenure.

“The sisterly relationship between Chandragiri and the Korean municipality will reach new heights in exchanging cultural experiences,” he said.

Deputy Mayor Lisha Nakarmi, Spokesperson Haribhakta Maharjan, Chief Administrative Officer Niraj Poudel and Manager of Nepal Cultural Center Korea Ju Jod Gon, Head of Publicity Han Jad Lee and Nepali Representative Mani Gautam were present on the occasion.
