NEPSE decreases by 30.51 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 30.51 points on Wednesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2803.62 points.

A total of 16.147 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 8.033 billion.

The banking group decreased by 22 points, development bank by 122 points, finance by 57 points, hotel and tourism by 78 points, hydropower by 6 points, life insurance by 189 points, microfinance by 61points, non-life insurance by 266 points, and other subgroups by 76 points.

Similarly, trade increased by 20 points, manufacturing by 6 points, and investment by 2 points.

The value of the 4 companies has increased by 10 percent.

The prices of Corporate Development, NIFRA, Narayani Development and Madhyabhotekoshi Hydropower have increased by 10 percent. The value of Himalayan energy development declined the most by 6.2 percent.

LikewiseNepal Bangladesh Bank was ahead in terms of the high transaction amounts.
