KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted light rain in some places of five provinces today.
According to a notice issued by the Division, light rain is forecast in some places of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy in Sudurpaschim and Karnali Pradesh said the Division.
The westerly low-pressure system is having an impact on the wester system of Nepal, currently.
The light rain is likely in some place of high hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati, Gandaki and Pradesh 1, informed Pratibha Manandhar, a meteorologist.
Likewise, light snowfall is likely in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous regions of Pradesh 1 and Gandaki Pradesh.
The terai is covered in fogs, currently.
