Policeman killed in Kirtipur accident



KIRTIPUR: A policeman of the Armed Police Force (APF) died when a school bus hit the motorcycle he was riding at Kirtipur on Sunday morning.

Policeman Subash Chandra Ratela, 29, was killed when a bus (Na 1 Kha 1612) belonging to Indian Modern School hit him hin on the road in front of the Armed Police Station at Kirtipur-ward-6.

The bus was heading toward Chobhar from Balkhu.

Police said that Ratela died during treatment at Bayodha Hospital.

Ratela, a resident of Koteli-5, Bajhang, was working at the Central Office of the Armed Police, Halchowk.

Bus driver Manjit Singh has been arrested by Metropolitan Police Circle Kirtipur.
