Prabhu Sah conspired to make UML nil in Madhesh: KP Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has accused his party’s standing committee member Prabhu Shah of conspiring to make UML nil in the Madhesh province.

Speaking to a news media in Kathmandu, the UML Chair accused Sah of conspiring against UML despite getting chance to contest in the election.

Chairman Oli confessed that despite being told about the suspicious activities of leader Sah, he did not believe them and trusted Sah.

“Despite getting the information that Sah was not sincere, I did not believe it and assigned him the responsibility; but now it is revealed that he (Sah) has been conspiring to make UML nil in Madhesh province,” Oli said.

Leader Sah, who deserted his CPN-Maoist Center to become UML minister under chairman Oli’s premiership, had got ticket to contest from Rautahat-3; however, he filed his candidacy as an independent candidate at the last hour of nomination.

Sah formed a panel against UML-Janata Samajbadi Party alliance and presented the candidacy for eight seats in the House of Representatives and 17 seats in the Province Assembly.
