National Assembly meeting postponed till Wednesday morning



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA), which was supposed to tale place on Sunday at the Federal Parliament building, New Baneswor, has been postponed until Wednesday.

The Parliament Secretariat has not given any reason for the postponement.

Finance Minister Janardan Sharma was scheduled to present a proposal to consider the Insurance Bill, 2075, Public Debt Management Bill, 2076 received with a message from the House of Representatives.

Similarly, Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav was scheduled to present a proposal that the Animal Services Council Bill, 2076, received from the House of Representatives with a message, should be sent to the Legislation and Management Committee for quarterly discussion.

Home Minister Balkrishna Khand was scheduled table a proposal to discuss the Prison Bill, 2076 along with the report of the Legislation Management Committee received from the House of Representatives.
