NEPSE rises by 56 points Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 56.06 points to reach 2,369.06 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The share trading gauge NEPSE index has increased by double digits continuously this week.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also rose by 9.52 points.

The share trading amount also improved with the positive indication in the NEPSE index on Wednesday. Total transactions in the stock market which had been below Rs 1.5 billion since the last few days rose to 2.36 billion today.

A total of 53,033,109 shares were traded through 37,770 transactions on Wednesday.
