Two killed in Myagdi truck accident



MYAGDI: Two persons have died in a truck accident at Annapurna rural municipality-4 in the Myadi district.

According to the District Police Office, Myagdi, the owner and driver of the truck, G a 2 Kha 658, were killed in the accident at Narchyang while it was returning after delivering cement at Nilgirikhola Hydropower Project last night.

The deceased have been identified as Khum Bahadur Ramjali, 43, of Annapurna rural municipality-1 Dowa, and Sant Bahadur Titung, 34, of Makwanur, Gogani-4, said Police Inspector Rajan Dhakal.

According to Dhakal, Ramjali is the owner of the truck and Titung is the driver.

The truck had fallen some 60 meters from the road.

The bodies have been kept at Beni Hospital for postmortem.
