Kathmandu Valley reports 18 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has reported as many as 18 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were 16 new cases of coronavirus in Kathmandu district and two in Lalitpur.

Including the cases added on Monday, the number of active cases in the valley has reached 177.

Till date, 16 districts have turned COVID19 case free so far.

There are 544 people undergoing treatment in home isolation and 24 in institutional isolation across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 11 of the people in isolation are in ICU and one is on ventilator.
