Ruling alliance to collect public feedback at local level in Tanahun



KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition parties are set to collect people’s recommendations in all municipalities and rural municipalities of Tanahun in view of the local-level elections.

A meeting of the district level coalition committee on Sunday decided to collect public feedback and recommendations when the civic poll set for May 13 is fast approaching.

The meeting decided to collect municipal-level recommendations in all four municipalities and six rural municipalities, shared Nepali Congress Tanahun Secretary Laxmi Bhakta Khanal.

“The meeting has come to a point to collect public feedback and develop strategic measures to strengthen the coalition’s presence in the election”, he said.

As informed, Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), and Janata Samajwadi Party have agreed to go for election by forging an electoral alliance.
